Arch was the architect of Threading Building Blocks, and was the lead developer for KAI C++. At Shell he worked on seismic imaging on a 256 node nCUBE. He has a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Illinois. Arch is one of the authors of the book *Structured Parallel Programming: Patterns for Efficient Computation*.
