Vulkan* Support in Frame Analyzer

Stream Capture

Capture the lifetime of an application through Multiframe Stream capture. Use keyframe functionality to create "save points" that allow for quicker playback time during profiling and can be used to signify rendering anomalies at capture.

Edit Shaders

Quickly iterate over shader code changes, without leaving the application or recompiling code.

Hotspot Analysis and 3d pipeline

Take advantage of our 3D pipeline view and hotspot analysis for both DirectX* and Vulkan applications. Quickly identify hardware bottlenecks by using the event color-coding dropdown, Hotspot Mode, or 3D pipeline view. 

2x2 Texture 

Apply the 2x2 Texture experiment to one texture or the entire draw call to help identify texture bounding problems.

Disable Draw Call Experiment

Disable a draw call to see the overall frame performance delta and the visual impact on your final render target.

 

Frame Analyzer

Multiframe Analyzer View

Open the door to new optimization and debug opportunities by viewing multiple frames at once. Identify intermittent issues and quickly iterate over 

Python plugins

Save a frame to a more accessible location from within the UI. Use this functionality to quickly identify the location of a desired frame and streamline the sharing process.

 

Trace Analyzer

Selection statistics 

View statistical data about any selected region including: inclusive time, event counter, and event track origin.

Bookmarks

Flag and categorize anomalies in threads.

VUlkan* support

Capture a trace data by within Graphics Monitor by enabling tracing and select "Trace (Vulkan)" from the dropdown menu. Use the CTRL+SHIFT+T shortcut to trigger the trace. No indicator will appear to signify that a trace capture is in progress or completed.
