Remote Secure Erase

Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT) version 11.0 introduces a new feature called Intel® Remote Secure Erase (Intel® RSE). Intel RSE is designed to allow IT administrators to remotely wipe the Intel® Solid State Drive (Intel® SSD) of the client device supporting Intel AMT (v11.0 or above).
Intel RSE is supported on the following Professional Series of Intel SSDs):
One of the primary use cases for this technology is reimaging a PC remotely by first doing a remote wipe of the drive, followed up by pushing a reimage via IDE-Redirect (IDE-R) or USB-Redirect (USB-R).
*No product or component can be absolutely secure.

Product and Performance Information

Intel's compilers may or may not optimize to the same degree for non-Intel microprocessors for optimizations that are not unique to Intel microprocessors. These optimizations include SSE2, SSE3, and SSSE3 instruction sets and other optimizations. Intel does not guarantee the availability, functionality, or effectiveness of any optimization on microprocessors not manufactured by Intel. Microprocessor-dependent optimizations in this product are intended for use with Intel microprocessors. Certain optimizations not specific to Intel microarchitecture are reserved for Intel microprocessors. Please refer to the applicable product User and Reference Guides for more information regarding the specific instruction sets covered by this notice.
