Tells the compiler to link to certain libraries in the Intel® Data Analytics Acceleration Library (Intel® DAAL).

Arguments
lib
Indicates which Intel® DAAL library files should be linked. Possible values are:
parallel
Tells the compiler to link using the threaded Intel® DAAL libraries. This is the default if the option is specified with no
lib
.
sequential
Tells the compiler to link using the non-threaded Intel® DAAL libraries.
Default
OFF
The compiler does not link to the Intel® DAAL.
Description
This option tells the compiler to link to certain libraries in the Intel® Data Analytics Acceleration Library (Intel® DAAL).
On Linux*
and
macOS*
systems, the associated Intel® DAAL headers are included when you specify this option.
On Windows* systems, this option is processed by the compiler, which adds directives to the compiled object file that are processed by the linker. On Linux*
and
macOS*
systems, this option is processed by the
icc/icpc
command that initiates linking, adding library names explicitly to the link command.
Optimization Notice
Intel's compilers may or may not optimize to the same degree for non-Intel microprocessors for optimizations that are not unique to Intel microprocessors. These optimizations include SSE2, SSE3, and SSSE3 instruction sets and other optimizations. Intel does not guarantee the availability, functionality, or effectiveness of any optimization on microprocessors not manufactured by Intel. Microprocessor-dependent optimizations in this product are intended for use with Intel microprocessors. Certain optimizations not specific to Intel microarchitecture are reserved for Intel microprocessors.
