_mm256_subs_epu8/16

Subtracts the unsigned 8/16-bit integer data elements with saturation of two vectors. The corresponding Intel® AVX2 instruction is

Syntax

Arguments
s1
integer source vector used for the operation
s2
integer source vector used for the operation
Description
Performs a SIMD subtract of the packed, unsigned, 8- or 16-bit integer data elements with saturation of the second source vector
s2
from the corresponding elements of the first source vector
s1
and stores the packed integer results in the destination vector. When an individual byte/word result is less than zero (that is,
00H/0000H
), the saturated value of
00H/0000H
is written to the destination vector.
Returns
Result of the subtraction operation.
