Troubleshooting

Problem
Possible Cause / Solution
In Step 4: Prepare Host Machine for Development, I got the error:
ERROR: TCC_TOOLS_PATH environment variable is not available. Make sure that you source env/vars.sh file
To solve the problem:
  1. Make sure that you finish Step 3: Download and Install the Package. Be sure to source the environment variables in each new terminal window.
In Step 4: Prepare Host Machine for Development, I got the error:
[sudo] password for <user>: <user> is not in the sudoers file.
To solve the problem:
  1. Change the current user to a user with root privileges.
  2. Set up environment variables per Step 3: Download and Install the Package.
In Step 4: Prepare Host Machine for Development, I got the error:
ERROR: apt-get install <package_name> failed
or
ERROR: <file_name> cloning failed
To solve the problem:
  1. Verify your Internet connection.
  2. Update package lists for apt-get.
    sudo apt-get update
  3. Try to install dependencies manually per Install Host Dependencies Manually.
In Step 7: Complete the Target System Setup, I got the output:
[DISABLED] RTCM
or
[DISABLED] Driver
or
[DISABLED] Driver auto-load
or
[INVALID ] Cache configuration (from RTCT)
To solve the problem:
  1. Run the following command:
For systems running the PR1 release of the Yocto Project*-based BSP for Intel Atom® x6000E Series processors, run:
    /usr/share/tcc_tools/scripts/setup_ssram_v1/tcc_setup_ssram.sh enable
    For other systems, run:
    /usr/share/tcc_tools/scripts/setup_ssram/tcc_setup_ssram.sh enable
The target system didn’t reboot when I expected it to, and pressing the power button doesn’t power on the board.
To solve the problem, disconnect the power cord, wait five seconds, and reconnect the power cord. Press the power button.
