Returns to the Open Frame Capture window. You can use the
Backspace
key instead.
Frame Overview
pane
Provides the following statistical information for the analyzed frame:
  • The total number of events in the frame, and the number of events currently selected in the
    Main
    bar chart and
    API Log
    pane.
  • Performance statistics, if available for your target system:
    • Duration of the full frame, in microseconds.
    • Duration of the selected events, in microseconds.
    • Theoretical frame rate for the whole frame, in frames per second (FPS), based on the full frame duration.
    • Time difference between the original and the modified frame. This value is shown during experiments with render states or in case of frame resources modifications.
Revert All Modifications
button
Turns off all performed experiments.
Message
pane
Displays messages and non-critical errors.
NOTE
If more than one message is open, use the
Up
or
Down
arrows to navigate between messages.
Frame Info
button
Provides the following properties of the analyzed frame:
  • Intel® GPA version
  • Filename
  • API used
  • Frame resolution
  • Name of the system on which the frame was captured
  • Hardware and software of the system on which the frame was captured
  • Hardware and software of the system on which the frame was played back
General Settings
  • Imports new Python plugins into the
    Graphics Frame Analyzer.
Appearance Settings
  • Restores the default user interface layout.
  • Changes the color scheme of the
    Graphics Frame Analyzer
    interface:
    • Light color scheme (default)
    • Dark color scheme
  • Changes the size of the Graphics Frame Analyzer screen and the screen elements:
    • Small
    • Medium
    • Large (default)

OpenGL Context Info button
Displays the rendering context configuration created with EGL/GLX/CGL APIs. Rendering contexts include a set of configuration attributes and their values, such as color, depth-stencil buffer formats, and other application-wide settings:
The
OpenGL Context Info
pop-up window includes the following data:
  • Config Attribute
    - name of the attribute used to create rendering context.
  • Original
    - attribute values used by the application to create rendering context. Original attribute values are stored in the captured frames.
  • Current
    - attribute values used by the selected player to create rendering context. When you open the frame in the Graphics Frame Analyzer, the player attempts to create context with the most similar set of current attribute values possible.
Original and current attribute values may differ if you open the frame on a different device. The difference in rendering contexts may affect performance and metrics data.
If the attribute value is too long, hover over the value to see its full name. For attributes that are not set in the original or current context, Graphics Frame Analyzer replaces the value with a hyphen.
