When running the application with the System Analyzer HUD/System Analyzer, use the
Ctrl+Shift+P
keyboard shortcut to pause and resume your graphics application.
While capturing a frame or trace file (by default
Ctrl+Shift+C
and
Ctrl+Shift+T
respectively), you will see no visual indication that the capture was successfully completed until you unpause your application with the
Ctrl+Shift+P
keyboard shortcut.
In fact, capturing a frame/trace file while paused will cause System Analyzer HUD to disappear until you use either the
Play/Pause
keyboard shortcut.
NOTE
Some games and applications trap all keystrokes, so keyboard shortcuts within the Intel® GPA do not work. In this case, to create frame/trace capture files you can:
  • Use
    Capture Frame
    /
    Capture Trace
    buttons of the System Analyzer.

Intel's compilers may or may not optimize to the same degree for non-Intel microprocessors for optimizations that are not unique to Intel microprocessors. These optimizations include SSE2, SSE3, and SSSE3 instruction sets and other optimizations. Intel does not guarantee the availability, functionality, or effectiveness of any optimization on microprocessors not manufactured by Intel. Microprocessor-dependent optimizations in this product are intended for use with Intel microprocessors. Certain optimizations not specific to Intel microarchitecture are reserved for Intel microprocessors. Please refer to the applicable product User and Reference Guides for more information regarding the specific instruction sets covered by this notice.
