Intel® Graphics Performance Analyzers (Intel® GPA) support multiple host and target operating systems. The following table summarizes the supported platforms.
  • Target Platform
    - the system where your game runs.
  • Host Platform
    - the system you use to analyze your application. One or more Intel® GPA tools run on this system.
  • Target Application

  • Intel® Processor Graphics dedicates a portion of system memory for use by the graphics hardware.
  • Intel® GPA is not supported on 32-bit host systems. Due to the intensive nature of graphics analysis, Intel® GPA runs best on 64-bit operating systems with at least 4GB of physical memory. If you need to analyze a Microsoft DirectX* application on a 32-bit target system, follow the instructions in this article.
  • To run Intel® GPA on hybrid graphics solutions (a combination of Intel Processor Graphics and third-party discrete graphics), you must first disable one of the graphics solutions.
  • System Analyzer HUD is only available for analyzing Microsoft* DirectX* workloads on Windows* OS. You cannot use this tool for analyzing OpenGL*
  • Intel® GPA does not support the following Windows* OS configurations: all server editions, Windows* 8 RT, or Windows* 7 starter kit. For details, please see this article
