Export Metrics to CSV Files
button
Saves metric values to a CSV file to post-process the analysis of your application.
Capture Frame
button
Instantly captures and saves a frame.
NOTE
The availability of the Frame Capture option depends on the mode you selected in Graphics Monitor and the number of connected hosts. This button is only available when System Analyzer is connected to a single host. You can still capture frames using the dedicated button on the Metrics Control pane .
Capture Trace
button
Instantly captures and saves a trace.
NOTE
The availability of the Trace Capture option depends on the mode you selected in Graphics Monitor and the number of connected hosts. This button is only available when System Analyzer is connected to a single host. You can still capture traces using the dedicated button on the Metrics Control pane .
Message
pane
Displays messages and non-critical errors.
NOTE
If more than one message is open, use the
Up
or
Down
arrows to navigate between messages.
System Information
box
Opens the System Information box that contains various information about the system running System Analyzer, including the operating system version, hardware information, and system firmware.
Host Connection
box
Connects to a specified host system. Enter a hostname or IP address, and then click the button. You can also get a drop-down menu with a history of recent IP addresses or hostnames.
Settings
button
Opens the
Settings
pane, which contains the following options:
  • The
    Pause mode caching duration (minutes)
    option enables you to set the time frame within which metric values will be preserved in
    Pause Mode
    , before the oldest values are discarded.
  • Options to restore the Layout, Visible Tracks, and Track Colors to default.
  • Change the color schema of the System Analyzer interface:
    • Light color schema (default)
    • Dark color schema
  • Adjust the user interface scale:
    • Small
    • Medium
    • Large

button
Displays information on navigation controls and opens the Intel® GPA online documentation.
