Running Memory Error and Threading Error Analyses

When you run an analysis, the
Intel Inspector
executes an application, optionally launches a debugger depending on your analysis configuration options, identifies issues that may need handling, collects those issues in a result, converts symbol information into filenames and line numbers, applies suppression rules, performs duplicate elimination, and forms problem sets.
Run a Newly Configured Memory Error or Threading Error Analysis
On the
Command
toolbar on the
Analysis Type
window, click the
Start
button.
Outcome: The
Intel Inspector
starts executing and inspecting the application for issues, and collects those issues in a result.
Rerun a Memory Error or Threading Error Analysis
  1. Choose

    .
  2. Choose a recently used analysis.
Outcome: The

Intel's compilers may or may not optimize to the same degree for non-Intel microprocessors for optimizations that are not unique to Intel microprocessors. These optimizations include SSE2, SSE3, and SSSE3 instruction sets and other optimizations. Intel does not guarantee the availability, functionality, or effectiveness of any optimization on microprocessors not manufactured by Intel. Microprocessor-dependent optimizations in this product are intended for use with Intel microprocessors. Certain optimizations not specific to Intel microarchitecture are reserved for Intel microprocessors. Please refer to the applicable product User and Reference Guides for more information regarding the specific instruction sets covered by this notice.
