Search Non-standard Directories

is designed to search all standard directories for the supporting files necessary to execute an application during analysis and manage result data after analysis.Intel Inspector

If you take full advantage of the solutions/projects paradigm to create application software in the Visual Studio* IDE, searching for non-standard directories should be unnecessary.
Add a Directory to the Search List
- From the:
- From the Visual Studio* menu, choose.
- From the StandaloneIntel InspectorGUI menu, choose .
- In theProject Propertiesdialog box, choose theBinary/Symbol SearchorSource Searchtab.
- In theSearch Directoriescolumn, click the
button to browse to and select a directory.
- To add another search directory, clickAdd new search locationin theSearch Directoriescolumn to display another
button.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 as necessary. When you are finished, click theOKbutton.
Outcome:
- During analysis, theIntel Inspectorsearches the listed and standard directories for the supporting files necessary to execute the application.
- After analysis, theIntel Inspectorsearches the listed and standard directories for the supporting files necessary to manage result data.
Change the Directory Search Order
