Face Detection

A very simple test application is provided to demonstrate the face detection functionality of the Photography Vision Library and the utilization of the example Gstreamer filter pvl_face_detection.
Start it with the command:
When the GUI appears click on "video_file” and then on “camera”.
This should start the viewfinder for the 13 Mpixel camera.
Then left click on “Face Detection” to enable the detection. Place yourself so that you can be seen in the middle of the viewfinder. The application should draw a rectangle around your face when detection is successful.

Product and Performance Information

Intel's compilers may or may not optimize to the same degree for non-Intel microprocessors for optimizations that are not unique to Intel microprocessors. These optimizations include SSE2, SSE3, and SSSE3 instruction sets and other optimizations. Intel does not guarantee the availability, functionality, or effectiveness of any optimization on microprocessors not manufactured by Intel. Microprocessor-dependent optimizations in this product are intended for use with Intel microprocessors.
