USB Audio Devices

The Reference Operating System for IoT provides native support for common USB audio devices like microphones and speakers.
USB Audio Device Connection and Detection
To ensure sufficient electrical current and platform stability, USB audio device should only be connected to the platform through a powered hub.
USB Audio Service Library
The Reference Operating System for IoT includes the Advanced Linux Sound Architecture (ALSA) library for controlling USB audio devices.
