Compiler Runtime Libraries

If you are dynamically linking your application built with the Intel® C++ Compiler, you must make the compiler runtime libraries available on the target platform. You can do this by downloading the Redistributable Libraries for the Intel® C++ Compiler and the Intel® Fortran Compiler for Linux* found here: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/redistributable-libraries-for-intel-c-and-fortran-2020-compilers-for-linux. Select your desired OS and version and follow the instructions for installation. The installation shell program (
install.sh
) of the redistributable package will guide you through the installation. On the target device, unpack the file in a directory where you have write access:
tar -zxvf l_comp_lib_<version>_comp.cpp_redist.tgz

Product and Performance Information

1

Intel's compilers may or may not optimize to the same degree for non-Intel microprocessors for optimizations that are not unique to Intel microprocessors. These optimizations include SSE2, SSE3, and SSSE3 instruction sets and other optimizations. Intel does not guarantee the availability, functionality, or effectiveness of any optimization on microprocessors not manufactured by Intel. Microprocessor-dependent optimizations in this product are intended for use with Intel microprocessors. Certain optimizations not specific to Intel microarchitecture are reserved for Intel microprocessors. Please refer to the applicable product User and Reference Guides for more information regarding the specific instruction sets covered by this notice.
