Disconnecting from the Debugger

To terminate the debugging session and disconnect the target, follow the steps below:
  1. Stop the debugger by clicking the
    disconnect target
    Disconnect button in the middle of the toolbar.

    Important
    The debug session is terminated now but your JTAG or Intel® DCI connection is still alive. To disconnect the target, do the next step.
  2. Ensure that the debugger is terminated and then disconnect the target by clicking the
    disconnect target
    Disconnect '<target name>'
    button next to the Connection field in the Eclipse* toolbar.

    The Target Connection Assistant terminates the connection.
