No, there is no mirroring functionality.

One possible trick for Y-mirroring is to change image pitch to negative value and adjust data pointer.

Do you see mirrored images coming from some camera, or you need that for other reasons?

When rendering the blob image as well as the graphical feedback of the user interaction, it seems more intuitive and even logical to have a mirrored image because general public or end users can perceive the image feedback much more easily, most probably because we are all accustomed to using the mirror in our daily life.

Besides, the direction of the detected gesture movements will be consistent with the shown image only if it's mirrored. Take for example, when making a "swipe left" gesture on the provided GestureViewer.exe, the displayed arrow of the detected gesture is consistent with the hand movement, however, the hand movement of the video image itself is the opposite, which could be rather confusing for the new users.

Technically, one could use the IPP library to flip the image vector horizontally before the image rendering. But for sure, it would be really nice to be able to retrieve that directly from the SDK, right?

Thanks

Thanks

Sming, yes you can definitely use one if the functions from IPP's ippi image processing library to perform the flip.
