Last week Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 ( Barcelona-Spain) was full of innovation, opportunities for networking and interaction with industry experts; as well as the chance to get information from experts on everything from how to code on Intel® platforms to developers showing off cutting-edge projects using Intel® Software tools. Intel® is sponsoring the monthly Phoenix Mobile Meetup in Phoenix, AZ on February 19, 2015.  Intel® will be giving a technical introductory presentation about Intel® Edison.  The Intel® Edison platform is a solution designed to unlock the barriers to rapid product innovation.  The presentation will discuss the various features & capabilities of Edison and how it ties into mobile & the internet of things(IOT).  Come join us at University of Advancing Technology in the Theater at 6:30p.m.  You could be one of the lucky raffle winners that will receive an Intel® Edison Kit.

Intel IoT Hackathon: Transportation – PDX

In the world of IoT, the theme focused hackathon plays a vital role in innovation and entrepreneurship.  Over the weekend of December 5th – 7th  Portland ADX hosted the Intel® IoT Hackathon focused on transportation.   The purpose of this event was to have teams focus on solving various transportation related problems using IoT technology such as Intel® Edison.
