mpiifort and 'end-of-file during read'


I'm trying to run an MPI code compiled with mpiifort. At the begenning of the code, while trying to open and read an ASCII file (the file is read by all processors)

file_name = 'Donnees_Simulation.dat'   
Open(11,File = file_name) 

Unfortunately, I received this error where line 79 corresponds to the first Read applied to the imput file : 

Tech reviewer needed for upcoming book about Intel compilers, tools and libraries


I am currently working on a book about parallel programming using the intel compilers and libraries. A chapter will be dedicated to the Xeon Phi and I would therefore need an Intel tech reviewer for the chapter. I would preferably wish an Intel employee with hands on experience on the Xeon Phi. build IPP with ICC?


Compiling IPP audio-video-codecs on Linux (debian), using gcc works great...

$ ./ --sample=audio-video-codecs --arch=intel64 --ws=make --build


but since I have the intel compiler, i wanted to use it to compile

$ icc --version
icc (ICC) 14.0.2 20140120
Copyright (C) 1985-2014 Intel Corporation.  All rights reserved.


however, when i do this...

./ --sample=audio-video-codecs --arch=intel64 --compiler=intel --ws=make --build


about RAPL PAPI event

Is RAPL event PACKAGE_ENERGY:PACKAGE0 including DRAM_ENERGY:PACKAGE0 and PP0_ENERGY:PACKAGE0? Or the total system energy should add the three events joules together?
