Error Message: "adb - device not found" in Intel® VTune™ Amplifier 2014 for Systems

When trying to Create a New Analysis in Intel® VTune™ Amplifier 2014 for Systems to connect to an Android* Device.

You may get the error message:

adb - device not found

cannot communicate with the target.

Error while getting collector context values.

or in Project Properties you might get the error message:

There are no Android Devices attached to this machine.  You will not be able to collect any data.

    Hi. We're wondering if it is possible to compile libs and apps for the 64 bit x86_64 architecture. We're currently using Beacon Mountain on Windows as our development environment and NDK.  We have Android 4.2 but could probably update to 4.4 if necessary.

    We are also using IPP for Android since we're trying to accelerate some critical processing.

    I like the phone and no complaints on the service model so far - since I think I understand the usage model. However, time to share some of the challenges:
     
    The points to make today:
    + I've been able to use the phone throughout my not small home including the deepest recess of my basement
    - Sitting in our main room conversing w/my mother had a number of breakup points, I think my WiFi coverage in THAT chair contributed (2-3 bars)
