Can't install HAXM on Windows 2012


I am using windows 2012 and I have tried all possible solutions to install HAXM with no luck.

* I have the latest BIOS version
* VT-x and VT-d are turned on in BIOS
* Hyper-V is not installed / disabled
* I've tried "bcdedit /set nx AlwaysOn" and reboot
* CrystalCPUID and Intel detection tool of VT-x shows that its on
* there Isn't any anti virus software installed on the machine ( I heard it made problems to others)

HAXM for OSX 10.10 (Yosemite) using outdated signature

Dear Admin,

Just a heads up, I installed HAXM today using the SDK manager through Android Studio using IntelHAXM_1.1.0_for_10.10.dmg

However, the kernal extension is using an outdated signature and hence does not work properly.

i.e. the kextload command yields:

sudo kextload -bundle-id failed to load - (libkern/kext) not loadable     (reason unspecified); check the system/kernel logs for errors or try     kextutil(8).

HAXM installation error - XD not support

Dear Admin,

I'm trying to install HAXM to accelerate my Android virtual machine. But after I lunch the program, I got following message "This computer does not support Intel Execute Disable Bit(XD) or it is disable in the BIOS. HAXM cannot be installed". I have enable the "virtual technology" and "VT-d" in BOIS. But I cannot find the "XD" item in BIOS. I also try this command "bcdedit /set nx AlwaysOn". But got the same error message. Could you please advice what should I do?
My CPU: i5-3320M
My OS: Win7 64-bit
My PC: ThinkPad T430

Anyway to use AndroidMediaObjectFactory or CameraCapture in Android 4.0 or 4.2?

Is there anyway to implement the CameraStreamerActivity example in lower versions of Android?  We really like how INDE ties in with Wowza and the performance, however we need support for lower versions of Android.

It's really only 2 classes:
CameraCapture and AndroidMediaObjectFactory.

I know Wowza's Gocoder works with Android 4.0 and 4.2.  Anyway to somehow get this example to work as well?  


Unable to open the x86 Android virtual machine(I had installed haxm successfully)

my machine    cube iwork8 2g ram

system      win8.1(installed all update)

CPU Atom Z3735D

HAXM 1.0.8

I start avd as arm, it can open and show Android to me but spend too much time


but if i use X86 ,the screen of the emulator is always black ,no any reaction

How can I do?

h.264 decode on bay trail


I am currently evaluating hardware for a new video application. I have an application which uses MediaCodec to play h.264 which works fine on all streams I try on my arm architecture but the Bay Trail nuc (N2820) running android-4.4.2_r1-ia2 only appears to play baseline h.264.

Is this a known limitation or am I likely to be doing something wrong?

ARM has not yet exploded into the server and workstation market, but it is happening. The way things are going Intel will lose massive market share in the coming years.
