screensaver vc2010 Linker problems LNK4049, LNK4217, LNK2019 (just another case of)

Hi there, I am trying to link the SDK to a screen saver. The screensaver is native windows. Does NOT use: UNICODE, MFC, .NET. I spent many hours with different combinations on the c/c++ settings and the linker. The ADPsample builds without errors. I am attaching the errors and the compilation settings in a separate file to keep this post readable. In the attached file, I have also the settings from the ADP sample application for comparison. Are the .libs provided in the SDK, statically linked and multithreaded? ( /mt )

Integrate the SDK in my application (Windev)

hello, I try to integrate the SDK in my application (Windev). Above all else, the examples m'affiche message: "The application can not connect to the Intel AppUp (SM) center." It takes a particular port? When integrating the SDK in my application, I get the message below, I can not understand why? Le framework .NET a renvoyé l'erreur suivante : System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Une exception a été levée par la cible d'un appel. ---> com.intel.adp.InitializationException: The application cannot connect to the Intel AppUp(SM) center.

End User Error Messages - in the API reference

In the Intel AppUp Software Development Kit API reference for C++, there is a reference to: End User Error Messages "The SDK contains error message strings that can be retrieved by applications and displayed to end users. These messages are accessed via their unique Message ID. They do not map directly to the Return Codes." String_ADP_AUTHORIZATION_EXPIRED (etc) I cant find any actual reference to these IDs, or how to use them anywhere else. Where are these strings and how do I get to them? Are they internationalized?

A self-containing MakeMSI example?

Hi, everyone! Does someone have a self-containing .mm script for MakeMSI? I've put together a script, but produced MSI ended up being rejected. Apparently the uninstall of the produced MSI does not work as expected (it is apparently not silent and when launched through AppUp it fails with error 511).

Multiple user languages

My.Application.Info.DirectoryPath.ToString will let us tell a user where we have written potentially useful diagnostic information. This path should be in the language the user has selected when he or she set up or modified Windows. A French user might see this as C:\Programmes\... instead of the English equivalent of C:\Program Files\ ... However, if the French user is using command shell she or he will be back to seeing \Program Files. Should we tell a user both file paths?
