The Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (Intel® HAXM) is a hardware-assisted virtualization engine (hypervisor) that uses Intel Virtualization Technology (Intel® VT) to speed up Android app emulation on a host machine. In combination with Android x86 emulator images provided by Intel and the official Android SDK Manager, HAXM allows for faster Android emulation on Intel VT enabled systems.
Intel HAXM is a feature of Intel® Integrated Native Developer Experience (Intel® INDE)
The following platforms are supported by the Intel HAXM:

The latest build, as of 17/8/2015, seems incorrectly signed.
Install on Windows 7 enterprise fails with 'driver not open' error.
After manually extracting and forcing the install of the driver starting the service fails with 'Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file.....' in event viewer.
Extracted driver msi with: msiexec /a hax64.msi /qn TARGETDIR=%cd%\64
Running signtool on the driver fails: signtool verify /pa /v /c intelhaxm_x64.cat intelhaxm.sys
Verifying: intelhaxm.sys
SignTool Error: File not found in the specified catalog.
SignTool Error: File not valid: intelhaxm.sys

Is this compatible with the Tizen's HAXM?
I want to use both the Tizen and the Android.
Recently, the Tizen-based TV SDK was upgraded(http://www.samsungdforum.com/TizenDevtools/SdkDownload.)
It use the HAXM version 1.1.1.2.
The Tizen Emulator cannot run on the Android's HAXM.
They were different?
If I want to use both the Tizen and the Android, what should I use?

For my HP desktop that Virtualization setting was hidden in the security area of the BIOS configuration. Just in case you have difficulty finding it.

I tried to install HAXM 1.1.1, but it shows "This computer does not support Intel Virtualization Technology. HAXM cannot be installed." While my system was running :
System Configuration:
Processor:Intel Xeon 1230v2
Ram:16GB
OS:Windows 8.1 pro x64
Is there something wrong with my System ?

@Aung Pyae K: Which version of Windows do you have? Are you using HAXM 5 (1.1.1)?
Aung Pyae K. said on
I have core i3 4005U 1.7GHz processor
I install HAXM but it says my processor do not have Intel VT-x;
If I enable the VT-x , HAXM installer says do not have the Intel VT-x;
but if I disable the VT-x, HAXM installer says "Your system meets the minimum requirements" and it says I must enable the VT-x.
So I can't install the HAXM.
Please reply this.
THANKS

For anyone having a driver not found error or digitally signed driver is required, there is an issue with both installs on 64bit machines, the digital signature catalog file cat is named wrong. I fixed it by following these steps:
