Java on MeeGo

Java on MeeGo The aformentioned topic needs to be a reality. Linux is a UNIX clone. Java was written on UNIX. They were meant for each other. MeeGo is a true Linux distro, the OS should allow installation of or include an option to install a JRE so that millions of developers, applications and connectivity options open up for our darling OS. All of hte places that MeeGo will run are all the places Java was intedned to run - in EVERYTHING when it was first being conceived ang called Oak...it was to run on tosters and refrigerators. Cars would have been an obvious platform. Can we do something with this? - CCK
