"Can't find MSVSR90.dll" -- How to resolve

Problem :

Some samples fail to build on Windows platforms because of the error: "Can't find MSVSR90.dll".

Environment :

Microsoft* Windows 7*
Microsoft* Visual C++* 2008

Root Cause :

This problem usually happens when Intel® Array Building Blocks is installed on a virtual (mapped) drive.

Resolution :

The issue can be resolved by installing the Intel® Array Building Blocks software on a physical hard drive (for example, C:\).

Sometimes, this issue can also be resolved by disabling incremental linking. Open "Properties" for the project and go to "Configuration Properties > Linker > General > Enable Incremental Linking", change "Yes (/INCREMENTAL)" to "No (/INCREMENTAL:NO)".
