Data Collected About Your System during Software Product Install

Your software product EULA contains the following statement:

CONSENT. You agree that Intel, its subsidiaries or suppliers may collect and use technical and related information, including but not limited to technical information about your computer, system and application software, and peripherals, that is gathered periodically to facilitate the provision of software updates, product support and other services to you (if any) related to the Materials, and to verify compliance with the terms of this Agreement. Intel may use this information, as long as it is in a form that does not personally identify you, to improve our products or to provide services or technologies to you.

The list below is the data collected during product install:

• Operating System, distribution and version
• System Architecture
• Processor Type
• Serial Number
• License Type – Single User or Floating
• Product Support Type – i.e, Commercial, Academic, etc.
• Product Fulfillment Type – media (DVD) or web download
• Which components from an installation package are being installed
• List of Integrated Developer Environment (IDE) versions installed
• Update # being installed (RTM, Update 1, 2, 3,…) (P3)
• Release product or Beta
• List of Intel products along with version already installed on end user’s system
• Install status (successful install or failure step)
