How to Disable Intel® Software Manager Update Checks

The Intel® Software Manager automatically checks for updates for installed Intel® Software Development Products.  If you want to disable the automatic checking, you need only change one setting, the Check Frequency.

To change the Check Frequency, open the Intel® Software Manager and go to the Settings menu.  Here, change the Check Frequency setting to "Manual launch only" and click the "Save Changes" button.

The Intel® Software Manager will still be on the system, but will not check for updates until prompted to do so.
