How to install the evaluation of Intel Compilers version 11.x?

Problem :
I want to evaluate Intel® C++ Compiler/Fortran compiler Professional Edition version 11. Where can I find a serial number?

Resolution :
You should need no serial number to evaluate Intel® C++ Compiler/Fortran compiler Professional Edition version 11.x. You should just select the "I want to evaluate the product" option when installing.

I have the same problem as Abel Brown. After installing the fortran compiler for evaluation on my mac,
on trying it I get the following message:

ltbepimac:~] bepi% ifort

Error: A license for FCompM could not be obtained (-1,359,2).

Is your license file in the right location and readable?
The location of your license file should be specified via
the $INTEL_LICENSE_FILE environment variable.

License file(s) used were (in this order):
1. Trusted Storage
2. /opt/intel/Compiler/11.0/059/licenses
3. /opt/intel/licenses
4. /Users/bepi/intel/licenses
5. /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses/*.lic

ifort: error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license

I installed both the fortran and c++ compilers and would like to use them from the terminal window. I installed using the evaluation option but when i try to invoke the compiler from the command line i get the license error

aha:~ abel$ ifort -v

Error: A license for FComp is not available (-5,357).

Make sure that a license file is being used that contains a license
for the requested feature. If your license requires a license server,
make sure that the server is using the right license file (usually,
this would be the same license file that is being used by this
application), and make sure that you have not changed the license
file since starting the server.

License file(s) used were (in this order):
1. Trusted Storage
2. /opt/intel/Compiler/11.0/059/licenses
3. /opt/intel/licenses
4. /Users/abel/intel/licenses
5. /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses/*.lic
6. /opt/intel/Compiler/11.0/059/bin/intel64/*.lic

What should I do?
