Intel® Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (Intel® HAXM)

Intel® Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (Intel® HAXM) is a hardware-assisted virtualization engine (hypervisor) that uses Intel® Virtualization Technology (Intel® VT) to speed up Android* app emulation on a host machine. In combination with Android x86 emulator images provided by Intel and the official Android SDK Manager, Intel HAXM allows for faster Android emulation on Intel VT enabled systems.

The following platforms are supported by Intel HAXM:

Hello Technical Team,

I want to install

Intel *86 emulator acclerator (HAXM installer)  using Android Studio 3.0.1

but it fails and give me
Failed to install Intel HAXM. For details, please check the installation log: "C:\Users\`Admin\AppData\Local\Temp\haxm_log985.txt"
but when i open the file then it show me
HAXM installer log started

and in this way I could not able to install any android emulator

please guide me ,my VT-x is on .Thanks in advance.

Asha, Fuyu,

I also tried installing directly from the .dmg but was unable to run an accelerated device on macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.2.

Just to be sure I modified the and successfully ran it, but still got the same error when I tried an accelerated android emulator  "/dev/HAX is missing"

The .sh script blocks based on macOS version, but you can install directly using the IntelHAXM_6.2.1.dmg on macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and it works for my use case (running Android Emulators).

Are there updates regarding supporting macOS High Sierra?

Folks have to upgrade in order to patch their systems for Spectre so the priority of this request is now higher.

Ditto above, when will you support Intel(R) HAXM in High Sierra 10.13.x.?

Doesn't support MacOS High Sierra. When can we expect it will be supported?
