Available Now: New Versions of Intel® Cluster Ready Specification
and Intel® Cluster Checker
The updated Intel® Cluster Ready Specification Version 1.2 and Intel® Cluster Checker Version 1.7 for Linux* are now available.
While most requirements remain unchanged, the updated specification contains a variety of features designed to increase the value of your Intel Cluster Ready partnership.
A major addition aims to address the need to balance backward compatibility and rapidly advancing technologies. The updated specification introduces a library requirement that solution providers will use to specify which version or versions of the Intel Cluster Ready architecture a given implementation supports. This capability should help solution providers deliver new technologies to market quickly while maintaining cluster stability. It also allows application developers to target architecture support by versions and solution providers.
The latest release of Intel Cluster Checker supports the evolving Intel Cluster Ready Specification version 1.2, and is backward compatible with version 1.1. Dozens of improvements and updates provide faster execution times, new test modules, broader Linux* OS support, and greater simplicity and control.
