Using Intel System Studio with Wind River Linux* Build Environment

    Intel® System Studio 2015, and the newer version provides the integration layer support with the Wind River* Linux* and the Wind River* Workbench. The following components in the Intel System Studio product are integrated with the Wind River Linux development environment.

  • Intel® C++ Compiler (ICC)
  • Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives (Intel® IPP)
  • Intel® Math Kernel Library (Intel® MKL)
  • Intel® VTune(TM) Amplifier for Systems (Intel® VTune)
  • Intel® System Debugger (XDB)

    The latest Intel System Studio 2018 provides the integration layer support for Wind River Linux 7 and Wind River Linux 8. The integration works for both Platform Developer and Application Developer. For Wind River Linux 9, there is no Workbench available so the Workbench related integration features are not supported. However the integration layer can still be used the same as Yocto* project from command line. Please refer to https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/using-intel-system-studio-with-the-yocto-project if you are working on Wind River Linux 9.
