Intel® Media SDK 2.0 - gold release now available

Intel announced the 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ Processor with HW accelerated encode at the Consumer Electronics Show last week. This technology is referred to as Intel® Quick Sync Video Technology and more information can be found here. There are a number of media SW companies already delivering great consumer experiences that are listed on the above page, and we expect to see more available in the coming months.

Today we released the gold version of the Intel® Media SDK 2.0! Lots of great feedback has helped to shape this release. We've been working with a number of major media software vendors to get this ready and their applications prepared for the amazing advantages found in Intel's next generation processor.
