This webinar is part of a 2-part series on Using Intel® VTune™ Amplifier XE to Tune Software on Intel® Microarchitecture Codename Sandy Bridge.  Part 1 will discuss the VTune Amplifier XE and its new features specifically for performance analysis on Sandy Bridge.  It will also detail our general performance tuning methodology, based on hotspots.  The final section will cover the Sandy Bridge microarchitectural details you need to understand to get the most from our Sandy Bridge tuning guide and interface.


Here is a short bio of the presenter: 

Shannon Cepeda is an Intel® Black Belt Software Developer who specializes in micro-architectural performance tuning.  She has a BS and an MS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University. She has worked for Intel for approximately 10 years, all in roles dealing with performance analysis. She has worked on servers as well as client systems, and hardware/system performance tuning as well as software.
