Intel(R) HAXM Hot Fixes for OS X Mavericks (10.9) and Windows 8.1 Available for Downloads

Intel(R) Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (HAXM) Version 1.0.7 Hot fixes for OS X Mavericks (10.9) and Windows 8.1 has  just been published in the HAXM webpage

This software:
-Uses Intel VT, available on select Intel processors
-Provides hardware-accelerated emulation of Intel(R) x86 Android virtual devices
-Integrates with the Android SDK

----------------------------
Prerequisites
----------------------------
Intel(R) HAXM requires the Android SDK to be installed (version 17 or higher).
For best performance, using SDK version 20 or higher is recommended.

Please refer to the Android developer website (http://developer.android.com/sdk/) for more information.

----------------------------
System Requirements
----------------------------
Hardware Requirements:
-Intel(R) processor with support for VT-x, EM64T, and Execute Disable Bit
-At least 1GB of available RAM

Supported Operating Systems (HotFix only):
Windows* 8.1 (32/64-bit)
OS X* 10.9 (32/64-bit)

Important:  Intel HAXM cannot be used on systems without an Intel processor, or an Intel processor lacking the hardware features, described in the "Hardware Requirements" section above.
To determine the capabilities of your Intel processor, please visit http://ark.intel.com/

Known issue:
The Android Emulator may freeze when HAXM and VirtualBox v4.2.14 and newer are run in parallel on the same machine. Our testing shows that previous versions of VirtualBox, v4.2.12 and earlier, don’t exhibit the issue.

Hi,

Just like Dan, i can't download the hotfix version either. The webpage opens download link for version 1.0.6 R3, whereas this post says that it is for 1.0.7.

Also, the link to download 1.0.6 R3 in that page is incorrect. It downloads the older version 1.0.6 (i think). The MD5 value specified on the page doesn't match with the exe it actually downloads!

The BSoD is troubling me a lot. Please provide correct links for downloading the hotfix for HAXM.

This is like Alice in Wonderland, where truth is stranger than fiction.

First line of this article is false.  It says:

Intel(R) Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (HAXM) Version 1.0.7 Hot fixes for OS X Mavericks (10.9) and Windows 8.1 has  just been published in the HAXM webpage

Clicking on the HAXM webpage  leads to Version 1.0.6.  Is 1.0.7 available?  I think that is what I need.

Thank you.
