Want to win one of ten trips to Barcelona, along with a ticket to Mobile World Congress 2015 and a spot to present at the Mobile Premier Awards? Join the Connect and Enrich Android App Challenge, powered by AppCircus and sponsored by Intel Software.
There are two ways to enter the challenge: join the online "Hack at Home" mentoring portion of the challenge for help and guidance building your Android app, then submit it to the Online Challenge at the end of the Hack at Home period. Two winning apps will be chosen (one by jury, and one by "People's Choice") to receive a round trip ticket to Barcelona, a ticket to Mobile World Congress 2015, and a spot to present at the Mobile Premier Awards, hosted by AppCircus. Or, you can attend an AppCircus event in a city near you - cities will be announced soon, and eight of them will be designated as prize cities, where the winner of the AppCircus pitch event will win a Barcelona/MWC/MPA trip.
Why "Connect and Enrich"? At Intel, our mission is to create and extend computing technology to connect and enrich the lives of every person on the planet in this decade (this is the driving force behind our Code for Good program, too). As we worked with AppCircus to sponsor this challenge, we wanted to find a way to encourage developers to create amazing Android applications to connect and enrich people's lives. There are five categories in the challenge: Health, Education, Travel and Tourism, Entertainment, and an open category.
Sign up, tell your friends, and get started on creating your app to touch people's lives and make the world a better place. We can't wait to see what you create!
