For applications to work with Intel® RealSense™ camera, Intel RealSense Depth Camera Manager (DCM) must be installed on the client system running Microsoft* Windows*. Although the discussion in this blog is based on the Intel RealSense Camera F200, it can also be applied to other Intel RealSense cameras, such as R200 and SR300. The main role of Intel RealSense Depth Camera Manager is to provide camera management. It exposes interface to both depth and color streaming sequences from the depth camera. Intel RealSense Depth Camera Manager includes two components: 1) Intel RealSense Depth Camera Manager Service. 2) Intel RealSense Camera Virtual Driver.
