Are we allowed to use compiler optimizations? For example gcc -O3.
not only allowed but welcome to use compiler flags !
as you have to provide a makefile with your source, and intel compiler is installed on the machine, you are free to compile with all the flags you want.
but be wise and write a makefile that will work on other hardware too.
for the basic flags, read this doc for compiler V12:http://software.intel.com/sites/products/collateral/hpc/compilers/compil...there's similar docs for other compiler versions
Do you provide Fortran compilers ? If yes, may we see a list of them ?
On the MTL, you have the intel compiler installed in /opt/intelAnd you can download a trial version on your computer too.
Could you give us a list of compilers that are installed on the MTL?
You have the list in the rules under resources, I think. I think you have Intel compilers and gcc...
The list isn't exactly what I wanted to see, but thanks I can look into these.
ThnQ Paul, i think that was a useful piece of information :)
