moblin: installation and validation rules (authorization prompt)

when i build an rpm/deb for moblin; installing it requires the user to enter the administration password - will signing and distributing through the intel application store remove this prompt? does this prompt (password to install) make the application validation fail - i saw in the validation guidelines that the application should install prompt free - under moblin, i am not aware of how you would install software without authorization? // Aaron Ardiri Mobile 1UP http://www.mobile1up.com/

Aaron,

I think this falls into that validation grey are like the Windows 7 unsigned silent installer prompt Windows developers are seeing. Have you submitted an app with this characteristic yet? Sometimes Intel is already aware of these issues other times your entry will prompt a resolution. Best of luck.

i was specifically mentioning moblin / linux environments; software cannot be installed without the user providing root access.
