SUGGESTION: For IADP Web Developers

Dear IADP Web Developers, As a member of IADP Forum, it was difficult to me (and maybe all of the users) to know whether my question / post / comment had been answered or commented by another user or even by the administrator. So, I suggest why IADP Website doesn't use Facebook's style: Notification. So it's easier (and quicker) to me (and the other) to get the answer / comment from question / comment I post. Best regards,

Great idea. In the meantime you could use an RSS ticker if needed, or a tabbed browser and plenty of F5 like me :)

Yes Brian, I did the same thing as you. But there are many countries (especially under-developing countries) which have very expensive price for internet access and computer hardwares. Maybe they're still use Pentium III with 128 MB of memory and use 56 kbps dial-up modem. Most of them still rent computer and internet access even for their school or college 's homeworks and final-projects.
It's consume more memory to use tabbed browsers and a lot of time for waiting the website to load completely.
So I think it's really hard to them to do as we did. It's wiser for us to create more efficient websites and softwares.

I'm already getting automatic email notifications for topics that I create or post in. But there are times when I wish I could 'subscribe' to other topics; a feature supported by many forum programs, but not this one.

Another adjustment that could be made, is for the forum to NOT send email notification for topic updates that you yourself post. A minor tweak, but nice to get rid of the "false positives".
