How does someone download a game demo to try it out?

Hi all, I sent the demo of my game out, but the only message that the person received is "You have been invited to beta test the application". I searched around but did not find any information on how they download my game. I'm hoping those who demo my game will be able to download it directly through the appup application. Is there a way to do this, or do I need to email them my MSI package? Thanks, Tony

Beta tester can install your app directly from AppUp. Someone you have invited for beta test should download AppUp, register using e-mail invited for beta test, and than install your application.

Please ask your beta tester to download the AppUp client from this URL:

They will need to register their account using the email address that you invites to take part of your beta.

Please keep in mind that in order to see your beta program inside the AppUp client they will need to be running the same Windows version specified when you submitted your application. Example: If you are targeting Windows XP and they are using Windows 7, they will not see your beta test in AppUp.

Best of luck!

Thanks for the quick responses. It turns out the app does not show up in the search box, but in the download pending section of "My Apps".

Hi Muilenta,

That is the normal place to find the apps. The beta applications should appear under "Pending Downloads" on the My Apps tab.
