How to disable warning #1420 & #1429

How to disable warning #1420 & #1429

If local variableshave a same name in different blocks, twowarnings (#1420 and #1429)will appear. ex:

for(int i=0;i<10;++i)
{
:
:
}

for(int i=0;i<5;++i)
{
:
:
}

Is there any method to disable these two warnings?

Dear Weichao,

On linux to turn a warning into a remark you use the -wr switch. I believe if you add -wr1420 -wr1429 to your command line, the warnings will disappear. Give it a try and let me know. On windows, I believe the equivalent switch is -Qwr

Max

Is there some way to disable warnings for only a specific file during compilation? Is there an equivalent to

#pragma warning( disable : 1420)

for the intel compiler?
