redhat 9 no problem

i download current icc for linux and use it under redhat9. I have no problem compile all my server/client socket application which use sockets, stdio, string headers. All C++ code. Where is problem ?

Or was icc updatet for new compatibility? If no :) where will be new version cover it?

I don't know if it will be because the version of red hat linux, but I have the version 9 and it compiles perfectly with openmp but at the moment of executing I receive an error message that says:

abort: stack overlapping detected!
Perhaps you are using over 2 MB of stack with unsupported pthreads library that was built without FLOATING STACKS defined? This is the default for the static pthreads library and many unsupported operating systems.
