Based on some posts that I have made here, I would like to know how compatible Cilk++ is with legacy c code?
I know that c++ is a superset (mostly) of c, so it should be quite compatible.
Cilk++ is compatible with C/C++ to the degree that you can call C/C++ functions from Cilk++ functions, but not the other way around. To enter Cilk++ from C/C++, you can use the cilk::run feature or the cilk::context feature (both described in the manual).
The new Cilk Plus product doesn't have these compatibility limitations.
