I'm trying to compile a so called "mex file" for Matlab with the IFC, written in Fortran95. The problem is that the new Matlab libraries use C++ exceptions for error handling which the IFC cannot seem to handle. As soon as one of the functions in the Matlab library throws an exception, the complete Matlab session aborts and returns to the shell.
For the GNU Fortran compilers like g77 or gfortran exists a switch "-fexceptions" which includes code for correctly propagating C++ exceptions. Does something similar exist for the IFC?
Thank you for your help.
