1. Are 32 logical or physical cores?
There are 32 physical cores

2. Is there a way to choose a node with HT-on or HT-off?

Not at this time, the current config is as follows:
Login node (acano01): has HT-on
Batch nodes: have HT-off

To run on onlythe physical cores on the Login node, is it suggested that you use the taskset command, i.e.

$ taskset c 0-15

See forum entry: Hytherthreading on the MTL for more details.

In the future we may designate some batch nodes as having HT-on, and you can specify to run on that node.

3. Is there a way to choose a node with TB-on or TB-off?
All systems have TB enabled in their BIOS, again we may in the future have batch nodes with TB-off.

THANK YOU for fast reply!
