opengl and hardware acceleration decoding

Is there is any coming hardware accceleration coming when we use opengl instead of directx ... I have application that are opengl based, and I can't use intel embedded platform atom because there is no opengl movie decoding support ... always for directx.

You can always copy the frames back to system memory, not a terrible overhead. The Media SDK can even do this for you (use a system memory frame allocator).Atoms are not supported by the Media SDK. Atoms have a completely different GPU (Imagination PowerVR based).
