I want to scale the result of decoder and I know VPP can does this work. But I am still wondering whether it is feasible to let decoder do simple scaling work to avoid adding a VPP.
Shall I use D3D's StretchRect after decoding was finished?
Intel Media SDK does not support direct scaling via the Decoder component. For scaling you can either use VPP or DirectX StretchRect as you already mentioned.
