is there any chance to get the libmfxhw64-p.so.1.10 compiled without AVX instruction to make MediaSDK work on Atom, Celeron and Pentium Processors in Linux?
Media SDK for Linux Servers is focused on server processors. While I certainly understand that there are many potential embedded use cases, there is a lot more to supporting those processors than a recompile of the library.
I have no idea how QSV is implemented inside the CPU, but as faar as I have testet Media SDK should work just by recompiling the lib at least on the J1900 CPU's.
I have run MediaSDK on top of "Intel® Software Development Emulator" which emulates the AVX instruction and it worked just fine - except it was running ~1.5fps due to the emmulation.
Maybe you can recompile the lib and provide it without any support?
