Rotating a 3D object - Best GeoNode Data to use?

I'm trying to use geonode components to rotate a 3D object... Using .normal from HAND_PRIMARY leads to odd gimball lock at certain angles. Is it possible to get more precision for smooth rotation for all angles that the hand moves in?

up ... surely the Intel folks can answer this simple Unity framework question

Were you able to rotate the 3d object in unity?it's very tough using gestures.I am trying my head out to get a solution.

I used transform.up = palmNormal; // palmNormal is the normal vector of palm from SDK

Not the best of approximations for rotations.  :(

Looking for a better solution!
