Unity3D 4.5.0f6 and SDK 1.8.13842 - Voice Recognition Not Working

Unity3D 4.5.0f6 and SDK 1.8.13842 - Voice Recognition Not Working

Hi,

I am using Unity3D 4.5.0f6 (32bit), SDK 1.8.13842 and the Creative Senz3D (VF0780) on a Windows 7 Pro i7 64bit system.

Fresh install of SDK and Camera drivers. No mods to anything.

The voice_recognition.exe works fine and dictates/recognizes commands properly.

However, when I bring up the Unity 'hellounity' project and run it (either in editor or as a built .exe), the voice capability almost always says:

voice (label=-1, text=!UNKNOWN) with no words being detected.

Is there an issue with the SDK and the current Unity version? and/or Windows 7? All other features of the SDK seem to work fine with Unity.

We are building an immersive collaboration environment for data scientists.

Thanks for your assistance,

Art

Hi David,

Thanks for the response and the patch. I installed it, recompiled and deployed the new .dll and now the recognition is working fine with Unity 4.5 and our 3D environment.

Really appreciate your help.
